EDIT: Just fixed it today after a rather simple find-and-replace on the wp_posts table.  (Export -> Do Notepad++ On It ->Drop Table -> Import Editted File.)  It was simple but oh so scary.   Let’s hope I didn’t break anything.

Twitter Tools is pretty slick.  Right now I have it set-up to post a daily digest of my Tweets (see default version here) and also allow me to update Twitter when I make a new blog post.   I’m not so sure how I feel on that feature, I have it enabled (but off by default) now.   I mean, it makes sense to answer “What are you doing?” with “Writing a blog post, here it is!”  Especially considering how intermittent these posts are and all.

WordPress Mobile Edition… I need to test out and my BlackJack just isn’t cooperating at the moment.  There’s another plugin that apparently does something similar, but this is the newer one so I went with this one first.

I still need to find a way to hack up the bottom to not look retarded (my links sort of break the format), but that’s a decent enough project to undertake.

Template->make_filename(): Error - file admin/confirm_body.tpl does not exist

That error isn’t anything giganitc, it just means that page that asks, “Are you sure?” doesn’t exist. A quick Google search found the answer. But, since the code is generic, you can just use this generic confirm_body.tpl (Right-Click and Save As) and upload it to /templates/TEMPLATENAME/admin/ and it’ll just… work.

One reminder: you need to upload the confirm_body.tpl to the admin folder of the template throwing the error (meaning the one you’re using in your Admin Panel), not the one you’re trying to delete.

• Changed my hosting provider to DreamHost. PM’s been using them for about as long as I remember, and so far I’m very impressed with their admin stuff, and being able to manage all my domains from a central spot is handy as fuck.
• Slightly more obvious then the hosting change is the new domain, http://percentsign20.com. If you ever notice in a URI for a file that has a space in it, the spaces are encoded as %20, thus, space dot com (if this page on URL encoding doesn’t make sense to you, the joke is lost upon you). It’s stupid, but I like it, and I’m not using a sub domain for a non-existent company anymore, yay!

Anyway, I updated the links section a bit (notice one thing in the pimpage section ?) and finally added that link I said I was going to… a few months back. Apart from that, not much going on, bouncing between both my characters as of late and have finally taken the plunge and picked up X-Perl, my interface is significantly prettier now.

Oh, and planned Druid talents, although the points in Imp LotP and Nuturing Instinct are basically preference (although I really like Imp LotP). +Healing is more of an endurance stat versus a power stat, so getting +300 on a nearly full heal isn’t that great sounding. Survival of the Fittest is nice, but I may end up swapping the points to Primal Tenacity and either Brutal Impact or Shredding Attacks. It really depends on how useful those talents become, but they’re all quite nice.

A certain someone doesn’t look like she’ll be on tonight, so I’ll probably continue the Druid stuff… next month or so?

In WoW news, I show myself as mildly retarded and then redeem myself in Tier 1, Level 70 Stuff, and Item Levels. And the end of this post can be considered my love letter to Exploration, and then the average level of Economics education in the country makes itself readily apparent.

(Oh, and Google Toolbar is rather finicky with Wordpress’s editor, which makes me a mildly sad panda.)

In other news, I got 60 like… a couple weeks ago, and have now gone and lost my mind with my UI.

I’ll do a full list of mods once I get done, but so far a couple things that may cause me great insanity. I love MobInfo2 / Archaeologist / ArcanePartyBars from Cosmos. Now, I’d love to play around with Discord Unit Frames, but I hate to lose those mods. I’m sort of in the same boat with TheoryCraft and CooldownCount for Discord Action Bars, although CooldownCount is supposed to work with DAB… but who knows.

Still have a TON of work to do on DAB, and then getting it all squared away with CTRA. Then of course there’s the tweaks I need to make to ItemSync… but apart from that… nothing much .

Correction: DAB has a Cooldown thing built in, and I only had to disable CooldownCount proper to get it to work.

After 4am, I got off MxO and got to work on the site, which I just finished now actually (mostly, still getting an odd validation error that I’ll have to pin down later today).

To begin with I began widgetizing the site (word stolen from the linked blog, and I really couldn’t have gotten a lot of it working without reading that post) with ever fun WordPress Widgets (which I’ll need to add to the Legion site whenever it becomes actually needed ). To do so, I needed to update the lovely Almost Spring! theme (painless) and then get cracking.

After playing with Widgets for a bit I discovered a bit of a problem: it broke my hierarchy setting (the games are children of the MMOs section, so it shows them like that, now). After reading around in the Codex, I just did a quick in widgets.php, reuploaded and all was good (and better then before, since it’s now showing empty sections, meaning I don’t have to actually put things in the MMO section if they’re already in a child).

Next up was adding the XFN link into Meta, pretty simply once I actually RTFM’d and just made a my own Meta function in functions.php. After that I just slapped the Creative Commons License in the Footer and was just about done.

Last thing was something I was saw when reading up on Widgets yesterday, last.fm (now you too can know my bad taste in music). Audioscrobbler Winamp Plugin + last.fm = tracking of music and such. I was playing around with a couple of their display options and they didn’t really suit the small sidebar spot I wanted it to fill. After doing a bit of searching and not really being happy with a graphic solution I decided to just use an RSS feed of my recently played and use a simple RSS Widget to display the last couple entries. (It’s at the bottom of the sidebar, right above Meta.)

That’s about it for the site, and my first couple stabs at that validation error while I was writing this didn’t do anything, so yeah… I’m heading to bed.

Oh, and Dentist appointment tomorrow in the morning. Yay! Not…

Honestly, I might be staying with this one, I like it a lot although I might futz with it a little bit (go go GPL) in the comming days (you know… after I do everything f’ing else). Adding those two to the Meta section though, that’s getting done as soon as I wake up.
