On the sidebar it’s: a few standard widgets (search, categories); one from the Twitter Tools plugin; standard RSS widgets that have my last.fm and Google Reader feeds; then some more standard ones (links, archives); some “Text” widgets that just have the HTML code for the images; and finally the meta widget.

Hi this is kind of an “unconventional” question , but have other visitors asked you how get the menu bar to look like you’ve got it? I also have a blog and am really looking to alter around the theme, however am scared to death to mess with it in case I get something wrong. I am very new to all of this …so i am just not positive exactly how to try to to it all yet.

I got the game through GameFly so no manual. I did grab the “Training Manual” in PDF though, but couldn’t find the game’s manual proper. I also knew about the display commands thing in Training Mode which gets you part of the way there.

I don’t remember the Challenge Mode’s Trial Mode (versus Attack Mode which was something different) being particularly useful though.

Honestly, had I magically not had a ton of other games to play that I owned or were sitting in my GF queue, I probably would have stuck with it for a while longer. But I did!

“Challenge Mode” of SFIV has the ‘do this combo/this is what a char can do’ and you can turn on your command inputs in training mode to see why you’re missing moves.

If you’re new to Street Fighter type training modes, you should read the instruction booklet that is provided with the game, as this is covered there. The Training mode is actually very good at training you how to do things, and practice execution. You can “Record” actions for the cpu player to do, (Jump RH, crouch RH, Jump Back, foreball for example) and test all of your different options against whatever you can come up with.

Another sweet feature, unrelated, is when you watch replays of the top ranked matches online, you can actually watch the command inputs the players went through as you watch the match, so you can see who button mashes and who has perfect execution

Yo, Cal you remember Shadow Syndicate in MxO, that was the best clan ever. I was VoltaireX, I have screenshots of the entire clan in these coats and hats I provided and cloned, all sitting in seats in this building and doing all this other cool shit until it turned into LEGION and eventually broke up. Then MxO got really boring and we quit lol

Okay… I’ve encountered a snag with Twitter Tools. I currently have my Facebook status message tied to Twitter (because it would never get updated another way). Status messages don’t really work with links, so that’s a bit of a lost cause. I’ll be keeping it enabled, but likely not using it much.

WordPress Mobile Edition is really quite slick though. No admin interface isn’t really a problem, I can just set-up post by email if I really needed it, (Usually though, I’m not writing a whole lot, so a tweet covers it well… and winds up in the daily digest anyway! w00t!)
